1
UNROLLING OF THE
NON-WOVEN GEOTEXTILE
This step involves unrolling the non-woven geotextile onto the prepared base and lateral walls of the excavation, serving as a protective layer to prevent soil erosion and promote drainage in the construction area.
2
OVERLAP BETWEEN
THE ROWS OF GEOTEXTILE
To ensure the geotextile barrier's effectiveness, a minimum 300 mm overlap between adjacent rows is vital. This continuity minimizes soil intrusion and water infiltration risks by closing potential gaps in the material.
3
ADDING THE GEOMEMBRANE
BETWEEN THE LAYERS OF GEOTEXTILE
If waterproofing is required by project specifications, a geomembrane layer is inserted between two non-woven geotextile layers, serving as an impermeable barrier to prevent water seepage and enhance the EZStorm structure's integrity.
4
WELDING THE GEOMEMBRANE IN PLACE
BY A COMPETENT AND APPROVED TEAM
Effective waterproofing requires the geomembrane to be installed by a NextStorm-approved team, securely welding it to create a seamless, watertight seal. This meticulous process ensures
long-term effectiveness and enhances construction durability.
